What's
a Covenant For New England Town Facilitator?
New
England towns are excellent focal points for communication and
prayer. Recognizing this is one of the keys to working together
in our region for the glory of God in New England.
Covenant
for New England needs Town Facilitators who will help with both
communication and prayer pertaining to their town. If you live
in a large town (25,000 people or more) you will want to
identify a smaller community within your town for which you can
be the Facilitator. If you want do it for your church and
not your community, that's okay too. That would be called a
Church Liaison.
Here
are specific things you will do if you become a Town
Facilitator:
1.
Get acquainted with and provide information to pastors, churches
and individuals in your town about Covenant events, conferences,
materials, and projects, etc.
2.
Update your Coordinator on important issues and events in your
town so Intercessors and Steering Committee members can pray in
agreement with you about them.
3.
Recommend pastors or Christian leaders you know who could be
invited to write a short devotion to be distributed as one of
the weekly New England Devotions 2008 Series to
subscribers via email.
4.
Identify church liaisons to assist you in distributing
information (e.g. paragraphs for printing in bulletin, bulletin
inserts, posters, announcements.) The church liaison may
be the pastor, staff member, church secretary or interested
parishioner.
If
you're interested, in being your town's facilitator or your
church's liaison, please apply here: Town
Facilitator On-line Application.
Blessings
in Christ,
